Her legacy

Obituary
Leora Robinson Bracy, daughter of the late Aucy and Ruby Robinson was born in Whatley Alabama on September 28, 1921. She united with First Baptist Church in Whatley at an early age. She departed this life on Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler Alabama.

Leora was a happy homemaker, she loved to cook and feed all the people who came into her life. She was affectionately called "Aunt Lee" by many who knew her, some of her many talents and hobbies included sewing, reciting poems at the church and flower and vegetable gardening. She cared for and nursed many family members including a devoted cousin, John Leonard Robinson, who she also helped to raise.

Leora was united in holy wedlock to Ellis C. Bracy in 1945; to this union was born 3 children.
